It's actually a great idea, I've been thinking about how to implement it without causing imbalance, because when you deconstruct a structure, unlike when you create it, there is a small “Delay” in the action, I'll see if I can replicate the delay by passing the mouse over the marked structure.
+1, though I knew there will be differences as you mentioned and didn't press the issue. The only thing I want that is lacking in this "all my old mods are now borked" era of 2.0 is the time consuming tasks of cutting down trees (and a workable mall with all the blueprint changes). I am not so much concerned about deconstructing as I am about the time consuming task of tearing down all those trees and rocks without actually removing them as I still want wood and stone.
