Is it possible to disable the derivative rotation of the manipulators on the planet?

I don't know what you're asking.

For some reason, my manipulators on this planet randomly flip over time. I thought it was a mod feature, like the one that changes the recipe in the machines to junk. Is there a way to turn this off?

Arcanyx doesn't have any swarms of giant insectoids, but if you start polluting you will quickly wear out your welcome here just the same. Arcanyx is a magical place, and is home to spirits of the planet who will punish you for polluting their pristine homeworld. If you're giving off too much pollution, you'll find your assembling machines cursed, your belts clogged, your inserters rotated, and other bothersome consequences. You'll have to invest in some of Arcanyx's new technology to keep things clean.

You can't disable any specific parts of this mechanic but you can disable it entirely. Check the settings.
