i Intermediate power generation?

Hi! I love the concept of this mod, but I feel the placement of some of the research is a bit strange.
I was assuming that this mod would provide an intermediate stage of power generation, between coal-boilers and nuclear power, as the main icon for this mod is a nuclear power plant but with regular fuel and lower-temperature steam. However, after downloading the mod, the power plants are only unlocked after you get resources from another planet. I haven't played a lot into Space Age, but I feel like by that point, there wouldn't be much of a need for steam-power generation.

I may be completely wrong in this and simply misunderstanding the point of the mod, but I was hoping this would be a mod that adds a new mid-game power generation option.

You're right, the mod was originally designed for vanilla Factorio where it inserted a mid-tier of power generation in between boilers and nuclear. For Space Age the heating tower seemed like a perfect substitute for the 'power plant' entities I made originally so I just moved them over to Gleba. I should probably do a pass on the mod and make sure things make sense in the Space Age context.

That's fair, but I still feel it would work better as a pre-nuclear power alternative, rather than when you're reaching late-game with other planets

Hey, I just wanted to ask, is there a chance you'll upload a version that places the technology (possibly including heating tower) where it was before the Space Age changes?

I was going to suggest disabling the Space Age changes with the option in mod settings, but it doesn't appear to work properly, or have a key, or a bunch of other things. I'll try to fix all that up this week.

That's fair, I just kinda wish I could use this mod on Nauvis before reaching other planets, but still with the Space Age content in the save.
