Circuit board alternate recipe takes 0.5 seconds just like the standard recipe, but it outputs two circuit boards instead of one, effectively halving the necessary number of machines to achieve the same production rate, on top of already not having to use any machines for copper cables. I think setting the alt recipe to take 1 second would be less OP.
That's actually a bug. The time should be 1 second to match the time of the normal recipe, however it was being applied to the bulk inserter alternate recipe instead due to a typo.
