Adds quarter (2x2) and half (2x4) cargo bay connectors. They add almost no inventory and cannot receive cargo pods — their purpose is to link cargo bays across gaps a full 4x4 bay cannot fit in.
Providing the player with new tools or adjusting the game interface, without fundamentally changing gameplay.
