I'm fairly new to the mod and I love the new additions, but I haven't seen a use for Diesel that hasn't to do with trains.
I'm using the mod in a combination, where trains are seldom viable (a lot of water and boats) and would love either a recepy for Diesel to solid fuel (maybe extremely inefficent, so you are still incentivised to create diesel trains), or make every vehicle take diesel, or (that would be really cool) a post-process step that looks at all defined vehicle items and produces a research depending on that item and diesel train that creates a copy of that item that works with diesel (so you are basically interoperable with every mod that adds new cars, tanks, trains, etc.). Maybe a Diesel generator for electricity would also be a nice addition.

But basically I just look for a way to use diesel without spilling it into the ocean or let a train run circles on an island.

Hello. Currently you can use kerosene for solid fuel and power gen, diesel for train fuel and upgraded train fuel. I might add some more uses in the future.
