Hi yes it is not working with old saves that include wind turbines from the previous mod. A workaround could be:
* start the save where the old mod is working
* mine all wind turbines
* save the game
* update to 1.1.x and use this mod
* load save
* place all wind turbines again
I know this could be a lot of work.
