Hi,

Great mod! Using it all the time.

Would it be possible to add an alternative view that is more compact?

For example, similar to ModulesUI ( https://mods.factorio.com/mod/ModulesUI )

*) By the way, the above-mentioned mods remembers the position of the GUI between openings. It would also be welcome.

Yes, I should be able to stack the buttons more. Were you looking for a thinner view as well? Something with a grid of icons 5 wide or so?

I can look into updating the position when closed.

5 wide with item count on icon would be perfect. I have it always open.

Also auto switching between remote view/character location (depending what view is on in game)

And smaller title bar would be also awesome.

Sweet, I can do that.

I feel like I remember explicitly not auto switching for some reason but I can't remember why I did that. I'll look into that implementation.

I don't think I can do that, even so the 5 wide icons is as wide if not wider than the title bar.

Oh, i figured out the location thing. It only applies when in remote view, so when you're not in remote view it just searches your location instead.

Looks good, but this update introduced the bug.

  • Go to remote view,
  • open some building,
  • use "q" to select item for remote ghost insertion

Building window is closing preventing insertion ( https://i.imgur.com/vsXjDrs.png ).

This happens both when "Search when hand changed" is enabled and when hovering over entity is enabled (it closes all windows - building/chest)

That's probably because the window is not pinned, therefore it closes other windows to make itself on top

I just came to say the same thing, I noticed it when setting logistic filters on my ships, I will select the item either from another filter or want to add a different quality of the same item and use Q to select it to then put it in a new slot and everything closes
