Unfortunately that mod wont work for me. I haven't tested for incompatibilities with other mods but I will revisit and hope for a fix.

The keybind wont work and in the hotbar this error message appears while mouse over on the according button.

Please include all relevant information in bug reports so that issues can be properly diagnosed and fixed. I'm not a mind reader.

From my testing, both keybinds work perfectly fine. The error message is just missing locale that will be fixed in the next release.

Okay, then it's now working as expected. For me it only works for items that are held. Not while hovering mouse over. Can I provide log files to support?
Where do I find them?

One hotkey is used to enable/disable the shortcut, which updates the infoscreen whenever the item in the cursor changes. The other hotkey is the one used to search a network for the item that is moused over, but must be keyed when the mouse is over an entity

Ah! That helped! It is not Alt+Z. On a QWERTZ Keyboard it is Alt+Y by default. Well, sorry - my bad!
