An idea for this mod...
A super Space Stargate (like the ORI) where bad ass ships go through and start attacking your ship in orbit the farther and farther you go in the endgame... with ships getting stronger and stronger... so the end game wouldnt be just asteroids, it would be ships with shields and lasers trying to wreck you.
I dont know if its doable at all... but thatd be sick.
