b Planets rotation reset

Hi Nauviax,
I’ve noticed that when I leave the space platform view and then return to it, the rotation of the planets and their moons gets reset.
Is this behavior intended, and if not, could it be fixed?

The planets are removed when no one is looking at them to help performance slightly, though I wonder if I can set the initial rotation based on game time to make it seem it was rotating? I’ll look into it soon, if it’s an easy fix then I’ll def add it.

Nice idea!
I was also wondering if it’s possible to set different parameters (like positions, offsets, rotation speed, etc.) for each planet individually?

Latest version should calculate correct starting angle when it is rendered in. Let me know if it's not working right, as I'm unsure how accurate it will be in games that have been going on for very long periods of time. (The calculation is based on the current map tick)

I won't be adding in options to tweak each planet individually as that's a fair bit of work and likely to create weird edge cases, though there IS a hook for other mods to use that lets you adjust each planet's scale. Here's an example of it getting used:

I've done a bit more work related to this, and 1.7.0 should allow mods to tweak these sorts of values now. Only rotation related at the moment, but positions and offsets may be added later as well.
