A known issue, listed on the mod page. I'd love to do it this way, but it's not possible to get the distance to the target planet until you arrive. It's theoretically possible to estimate it, but they ways I can think of doing it would hurt performance.
A future version of Factorio might make this possible. (Though also a future version of Factorio might replace this mod, which would be even better imo)
