Render the local planet behind platforms when in orbit. Now with parallax, rotation, and mod support!

i Camera should stay stationary when panning.

I know this is supposedly related to parallax and I really like the idea of the mod, but this simply ruins it for me. How can I put it.. At such a massive distance to the planet, There should be absolutely 0 discernible movement of the planet when moving the camera. i.e. the planet should be stationary and fixed in the same place on the screen when moving the camera about the ship. I do not understand who suggested parallax. Do they not understand how scale and perspective works? The planet should absolutely not move at all when moving the camera on the XYZ axis on the scale of the ship without. At least add a toggle for parallax in the settings for the criminally insane since you already worked on it. Surely keeping the planet fixed in place should be much easier than adding parallax support. :)

Also, as a small side suggestion, the animations of the planet shrinking when leaving orbit should be, in my humble opinion, be drastically reduced, if possible.

Kind regards, Alin.

Have you actually opened mod settings or read the mod page? Everything is customizable and I'm also trying to add more customization as it's requested.

You're able to disable parallax if desired for a fixed planet render next to the ship, or increase the parallax factor to a large enough number that the planet doesn't appear to move relative to the camera at all. The problem with a realistic parallax effect is that the stars in the background also have a relatively fast moving parallax effect, so the planet having a realistic amount of it looks pretty weird.

You're also able to adjust the speed of the arrival and leaving animations, and I'm working on an ease-in ease-out system to make it look even better too.
