Ⴚypsy Wires

What it does

Improves the visibility of wires.
Makes the copper wire, circuit wires, and wire shadows thicker.
Each option is selectable in the mod settings. Does require a restart.

Why it is here

The 2.0 version will work in Factorio 2.1 with a simple change in the info.json file.

I've been waiting for this to be updated, and do not believe it will be.

There's been no sign of lachlanmcdonald for several months and Thicker Power Wires is their only mod. Players get tired of Factorio and move on, so a mod can become an orphan. I think this is such a mod.

As an improvement to the mod I added compatibility with Enhanced Circuit Network Visibility by AntiElitz, and others. To that end, regardless of startup settings, if the AntiElitz mod is detected the circuit wires, and their highlights, will not be changed. AntiElitz's mod modifies the colors for enhanced visibility and makes them thicker. Their mod, however, does not deal with the copper wires, nor the wire shadows. Those enhancements will be applied if their settings are turned on.

Attributions

The concept, as I learned of it, and the majority of the work all come from the original mod by lachlanmcdonald.

Issues

If there end up being any other mods where get clobbered by this one, let me know and I'll see what can be done to make it 'play nice'.
