Changelog

Version: 2.1.2
Date: 2026-09-08
  Features:
    - Boats and aircraft are told apart from cars and handled accordingly. A boat picks up
and sheds speed a quarter as readily as a car, slides four times as much and turns an
eighth as fast; an aircraft a tenth as readily, slides ten times as much, and turns a
      quarter as fast
    - Neither boats nor aircraft leave tire marks, and neither throws up dust
  Bugfixes:
    - Braking no longer makes a boat or aircraft turn faster than driving does. Standing on
the brake to let the back come round is how a car is drifted, and neither of them has
      that trick
    - A boat or aircraft eases away from a standstill instead of jumping. Its first tick
used to be the largest of the whole run, which is how the game accelerates a car and
not how either of these should leave the line
    - Coming to a stop no longer lurches, however gently the vehicle brakes. The last of
its speed was being taken off in a single step
    - A vehicle stopped by hitting something stays stopped. It used to be handed back most
of the speed the collision took off it, and leapt away from whatever it had hit
    - A drifting boat is no longer pushed onto land, where it could not move at all. The
same keeps a drifting car out of the water
    - The physics applies to a vehicle you were already sitting in when the mod was added
to a game. It used to do nothing at all until you got out and back in
    - Getting into a vehicle and straight back out no longer leaves it being tracked with
      nobody in it
    - Vehicles that their own mod already flies are left alone, instead of being fought
over every tick. Covers Hovercrafts, Helicopter Revival, Laser Tanks, WH40k Titans,
the C5 Galaxy, and any plane registered with AircraftRealism
