You cannot use this mod in place of the ones this is a fork of. I could have made that possible, but it would have broken your factory once installing it.
The poles are called distribution boards in this, and have extended ranges that are nicely divisible by roboport range, and each other.
Objects can be placed on top of the distribution boards, just like the original mod.
To do:
- Graphical updates to come in version 1.3.xx
- Add super long range substation-like poles? The max reach for poles is 64 tiles and the current range of the long distance board is 50x50, so we'll see if it's even a good idea. I'm going to have to think about how to balance it well with the other items.
- Add some circuit network only poles that have a long reach but won't connect copper wire. Could be useful for complex circuit networks.
- Recipe changes for game balancing (the items won't change for crafting, but the ratios and research materials required will)
