The latest version has a very easy way to dupe ammo:
1. Place a new turret
2. Install the Veteran Core
3. Bind the core to the turret
4. Give the turret ammo
5. Pick up the turret
6. Place the turret again
You get the ammo back when you pick up the turret like it does in the base game, but the turret also "remembers" the ammo next time you place it; effectively duping it.
This only works when a core is binded.
Tested with only Base game and Space Age enabled.
Otherwise very good working mod as far as I've experienced :)
