Q: What's the difference between this and Turbines++ Rebalance and optional K2 Patch
A: Different balance numbers, Pressurized Fluid support, no barrels. Also that's a patch and this is a fork because I'm bad at patching. I didn't see that one before I noticed Turbines++ wasn't working well in K2 and made this. :D
Q: How did the turbines change?
A: Laplace turbines are slightly more efficient, Carnots are a LOT better. Both felt needed due to how expensive these are. They're both probably under powered for their cost honestly.
Vanilla:
turbine before: 5.82 MW single / 23.3 MW quad, 2.4gj from 25k 500C steam
Laplace before: 23.3 MW / 2.4gj
Carnot 500 before: 64 MW / 2.4gj
Carnot 900 before: 80 MW / 3.1gj from 25k 900C steam
turbine after: 5.82 MW / 23.3 MW 2.4gj from 25k 500C steam
Laplace after: 24 MW / 2.5gj
Carnot 500 after: 24.1 MW / 2.5gj
Carnot 900 after: 44 MW / 4.6gj from 25k 900C steam
Carnot turbine "wants" to go to 116MW at 900C in vanilla but can't due to the 80MW cap. Efficiency drops to 0.684814244136278 as a result (900c still has enough energy to make it better than 500 though)
Q: What happens to Turbine++ in K2? The other version works!
A: It does, and I was using it happily until I noticed my fusion reactor from Realistic Fusion Reactors was below-net when switching to 4-way turbines. Turns out that thanks to the K2 steam changes, regular turbines are straight up superior in K2! Here's the numbers
K2:
turbines before: 10 MW / 40 MW 5gj from 25k 500C steam
Laplace before: 40 MW / 4.2gj
Carnot 500 before: 80 MW / 3.3gj
Carnot 900 before: 80 MW / 3.5gj from 25k 900C steam
turbines after: 10 MW / 40 MW 5gj from 25k 500C steam
Laplace after: 42 MW / 5.2gj
Carnot 500 after: 41.1 MW / 5.1gj
Carnot 900 after: 75 MW / 9.4gj from 25k 900C steam
Q: What's with the lowered efficiency in K2?
A: K2 changes steam power values in a way I wasn't totally able to follow. The efficiency values are a hack to compensate.
