Perhaps the mod is only for your use though.

I would put this mod in the advanced users catagory who have a fairly deep understanding of how Factorio trains work, I might just update the description to reflect that.
As a background before 0.16 came out the train pathfinder code was released by Rseding91 (https://www.reddit.com/r/factorio/comments/6w3z5i/developer_qa/dm5e49i/) and when 0.16 came out some of the hard coded parameters of the train pathfinder was added to the mod API.

My similar mod Pathological has some more detail on the settings as well ;)

I think you or maybe it was Xterminator have done videos on how train pathfinding works under the hood in Factorio. would just suggest linking to those videos here.
