Just started a playthrough with this mod and i'm getting attacks caused by pollution rather than the waves. Running this with a few other qol mods like milestones, even distribution and a few others like that so I wouldn't think its another mod affecting it.

mhh this is weird, i have been playing and testing with QOL mods too and it hasn't happened so far, as this is the first report, could you send me you're game log too see what's going on please?

(btw are you sure that youre not triggering any nest or biter near a nest? i programmed them to "defend and attack" whenever you attack them and they go for the base usually)

I think we encountered the same behaviour in our run too. Pollution was "ticking" in radar view above any nest. Nests were sending biters to gathering points. It was definitively different from vanilla since they gathered until there were ~100 biters. Nearly took us out 30 min in. Played in multiplayer. Lowered wave to 6min. Disabled ammo chest. No other mods.

Couldn't the planets just have the pollution option turned off by the mod or on map setup by the player if it's not used? Would save processing.

Realized my suggestion to turn off pollution had the flaw of slowing down the evolution. So I guess it would have to be handled on the mod end unless you want to fiddle with the time based evolution settings. Because I couldn't find any different mod that halts the spread of pollution without it being some kind of overhaul mod.
