Hey AckEmma, how hard would it be to have something like a "fill" function. Where the mod paints (or create ghosts) for tile X within an area surrounded by any entity.
A Fill function is in the list of future features.
It seems more like you are asking for an arbitrary selection for #tiles (e.g. a field to set the number of tiles instead of just selecting for +1, +2) which is also a potential feature.
This first beta release is small and to gather ideas like this :)
actually what I'm thinking is... supposed I have a factory surrounded by walls... I pick a flooring tile from my inventory, like concrete for example, then I place it on any part of that factory, and it automatically paints (or blueprints) the whole area.
I'm asking for this because at the moment, carefully painting my base with grass (from Dectorio), blue "cool", dirt and concrete takes 90% of my play time =)
I think your mod is incredibly amazing! I haven't submitted mine (area fill) because I think it should be part of yours, because that's where I got the idea to begin with.
