Stellar Horizons – Military
Part of the Stellar Horizons modpack, the Military module transforms combat in Factorio into a diverse, tactical, and ever-escalating battlefield. This pack introduces advanced turrets, powerful vehicles, enhanced defenses, and smarter, deadlier enemies to keep your factories on edge.
⚠️ Caution: Rampant significantly increases the challenge compared to vanilla. Expect tougher enemies, more varied attack patterns, and a higher demand on your defenses. Not recommended for first-time Rampant players.
👾 Smarter Enemies
- Rampant Evolution makes alien threats more adaptive: enemies mutate, bypass defenses, and coordinate underground or waterborne assaults.
- Difficulty builds up gradually, but eventually exceeds standard Rampant, requiring constant adaptation and layered defenses.
🏰 Turrets & Defenses
- Rampant Arsenal expands your arsenal with everything from Rifle Turrets for early-game survival to Lightning, Rocket, and Capsule Turrets for late-game devastation.
- Specialized defenses like Medic Turrets (healing), Repair Turrets (automated structural recovery & charging stations), and Reactive Mending Walls ensure your perimeter is always active and adaptive.
- Rocket Artillery – a quirky, low-tech but satisfying long-range bombardment system for softening up waves before they reach your walls.
🚙 Vehicles & Equipment
- Deploy the Assault Spidertron, reworked for Factorio 2.0 with configurable weapon systems, logistic integration, remote control, and even an arachnophobia mode.
- Armored vehicles receive upgrades: nuclear-powered trains, stronger cars, and tanks.
- New personal equipment options: advanced shields, belt immunity, lightning weapons, and tier 3 generators.
💥 Weapons & Ammo Types
- High-Explosive, Incendiary, Bio, and Nuclear ammo lines for bullets, rockets, shells, artillery, and landmines.
- Mortars, upgraded rocket launchers, miniguns, napalm fluid, and booster capsules for both player and turret use.
- Infinite tech upgrades for ammo, turrets, and character survivability keep the arms race going indefinitely.
