Is it possible to do something about this?

If you own SA, you can enable https://mods.factorio.com/mod/enable-all-feature-flags?from=search and it will probably work (you'll also get a bunch of spoilables in your Py game, which I think you can turn off in mod settings if you don't want them.)

Not sure why it is failing when the spoiling feature flag hasn't been set - I will have to check sometime later.

This is fixed in the latest PyAE update.
