Have not tested with other spiders but the mk3 doesn't fire out of inventory but only out of ammo slots. Is this intentional? Because normally they can take ammo out of their inventory too...

Hey, I just checked and it seems that it works, just as any other spidertron. You do have to have at least 1 ammo in the ammo slot for the spidertron to start shooting, then it reloads automatically. Could have that been the case for you that you didn't have anything in ammo slot to begin with?
