I am trying out the Spawn Belt mod 1.0.3 with Factorio 0.14.19. I have an issue while using the spawn belt that the (starting) spawned iron ore gets mixed in with the newly spawned item. I have made a short video to illustrate.

This is not a bug. You used multiple spawn belts in a row. Only the furthest back next to the box will change over to the copper plates you selected. Use regular belts after the spawn belt.

EDIT; Yes this is a late reply but I'm sure he isn't the only person who has tried this.

SoulForge is correct, this is expected behaviour as you can configure spawn-type of the belt using a chest behind it, this only effects the belt in the back. It is designed to only require one belt to spawn resources, after that you should use regular belts.
