Sorry if this question is already answered in the mod page, but I didn't seem to find this specific info.
Can this mod be used to "force" a space platform to drop an entire logistic group into another space platform orbiting a planet as some sort of "hub"? (AFAIK this only "works" for forcing unloading on planets, sorry if i didn't get it all in one go).

My idea is to basically automate some iron on Nauvis' orbit, using metallic asteroids picked up from the vulcanus-nauvis connection using Platform 1, then drop them all on Platform 2 (which does have crushers, a big inventory, and a lot of furnaces), so I can automate steel, ammo, etc.
I find the current implementation in 2.1.22 nice, but being forced to deactivate the logistic groups is a chore. Would this theoretically work for that too?

The mod uses orbital drops (trash slots) to drop items. These always land on a planet, never on platforms. So no, unfortunately, this mod can't do that.

If you want to transfer items to another platform in orbit, enable “Provide materials to other platforms” and create a corresponding request at your orbital smelter.
