Is there seriously no way of automating that? Having to do it manually every single day is an incredibly un-fun experience, especially once you get more than like 20 clockwork people since it seems they get it all the time. Is there any other way of dealing with this or the disease?

Hello. At the moment blood bags are only required to cure Lack of Purple Blood Cells, which is a birth defect. So your inhabitants can only get it when they are born, but not after that.
You can automate Blood Bags with a Med Bay or Hospital once you research Transfusion Medicine.
