A bunch of bricks of solid material sitting in storage? Why not make walls out of them. Just keep them away from any ignition sources...
(No flamethrower turrets in your defenses in exchange for more cheap walls)
Could make flooring out of them. Either a new one (asphalt maybe?) or as a replacement for the iron ore or stone in standard concrete.
