I think this is a great mod.

I tested it with Exotic Space Industries: Remembrance, and it seems that enemy base expansion does not work properly on Nauvis. (Expansion does occur on the planet Gaia.)

On Nauvis, the following mods are also enabled:

Armoured Biters
Explosive Biters
Toxic Biters
Cold Biters
Arachnids on normal enemy force

These mods are active on Nauvis where the expansion issue occurs.

My testing method is to use the map editor's sandbox mode, set the evolution factor to 0.99 with a command, and speed up time by 64× while observing the behavior.

On Nauvis, expansion parties do set out from existing nests. However, after reaching their destination and waiting there for a short time, they disband and return to the surrounding nests instead of establishing a new base.
