I tried to add it to 2.0 Enable Planet Mods Lite playthrough, and I have labs on 3 planets - Nauvis, Cerys, and Moshine, with way too many planetary science packs, including some spoiling ones.

I tried to add this mod, but I can't really see what's going on. The game UI only shows like the first research is happening, other labs just act as if they were idle. Is there any kind of UI here?

You need to toggle the mod on via a shortcut button, then it UI will appear on top of vanilla research progress bar.
