Simply Complex: Belts

Slightly increases the crafting chain complexity of all belts, undergrounds, and splitters. Added complexity is offset by approximately 20% cost reduction per belt.

If Pyanodons is detected and the rubber belts mod belt should cost rubber, and you should make your own rubber for vanilla rubber belts

I'm not sure I'm following what you'd like to see here, can you elaborate?

You'd like a mod that adds an additional rubber belt to the game, if Pyanodons/Rubber belt mod is also present? Or you'd like to see the Pyanodons/Rubber belt mod recipes altered in the same fashion as was done here with vanilla belts? Or you'd like to see a rubber belt recipe added to this mod in the style of Pyanodons/Rubber belts mod?

The rubber belt retexrure, that makes all the belts look rubber, id think it'd be cool if you had an option where belts require rubber to make that mod realistic for players who want that

For clarity you're talking about this mod: https://mods.factorio.com/mod/black-rubber-belts-remastered

Your idea seems to align with the goals of this mod, and something that I think I can implement easily enough. I'll see what I can do! Originally, you mentioned Pyanodons. I took a look at that, and it seems rubber is a decently deep tech in that modpack, as such it would probably be impractical to use its version of rubber for early belts (yellow, and probably even red, I would need to look more closely at where the techs lay). Was there something you wanted specifically from Pyanodons being present?

Current thought for implementation is to add a player opt in toggle on mod load that adds an early game rubber item and adjusts recipes accordingly if desired. This would make it additional, optional, complexity that should work with or without the retexture mod or otherwise.
