Scrappy Chemistry
Exhausted, the engineer finally completes the construction of their oil refinery, the long pipe from the pools of crude oil ready to go. They flip the switch and... something's off. They glance at the notes from "Baby's First Oil Processing Facility" they wrote on their sleeve. It definitely said ~2:1... oh, they forgot about the asterisk.
What the hells does "sour gas" mean?
Content
- Butane, yielded from oil processing, can used to produce solid fuel and plastic.
- Sour gas, which is specialized for sulfur production.
- Tar, the sticky runoff from oil processing.
- Methane, used in explosives and rocket fuel.
- Hydrazine, unlocked on Aquilo for high-energy recipes.
- Having been sunset from sulfur production, Petroleum gas is now used to craft explosives and methane.
- Oil processing recipes have been significantly altered to give you reasons to use a breadth of recipes to get what you need.
Not recommended for existing saves if you already have fluid production, unless you don't mind redoing everything.

Compatibility
- Recipes are automatically modified if they have a fluid or item that have a byproduct ingredient. Some recipes do have special treatment.
- Space Age compatibility is now complete! Please feel free to report any issues
- (NEW!) Scrappy Industry is now optional
Modding Interface:
- Internally, the Scrappy Industry API is used, and you can use the same properties.
- For fluid byproducts, you MUST set the product type as fluid, e.g.
ScrapIndustry.products["sour-gas"] = {type="fluid"}.
