With angels 2.0 releasing today I tried enabling the script myself.
After some small fixes (replacing game.entity_prototypes checks with script.active_mods and config with config.nauvis in mainconfig.lua and angelsores.lua), it works fine as far as I can see with infinite ores spawning as expected.
But I'll wait for the official update :)
Are you willing to share more detailed instructions for the changes you made, while we wait for the official update?
