Resource Spawner Overhaul

by orzelek

Makes resources more sparse than base game. You will need to use trains much earlier to get resources. Game will be more difficult especially with higher enemy settings.

So I tweaked my settings so my ore locations are really far out for Nauvis and I like that as trains are cool, but it breaks vulcanus. Have gone out to Large demolishers and haven;t found any ores yet. Is there a way to tweak only vulcanus spawns?

How did you tweak resources?
Vulcanus should spawn 1 patch in starting area with slightly higher distance.

Correct yes, its more the subsequent patches being difficult to find.

I assumed that getting to next one might be done past Aquilo when demolishers are more managable.
So there is only on "bonus" patch to ensure you don't get blocked. I'm not sure what other solution could work nicely - Vulanus has very unique enemy mechanics.
It also depends on how you tweaked settings - if it's starting area size then it could be reasonable to ignore that on Vulcanus. It wouldn't help you since your vulcanus is already generated.

Had the same issue with vulcanus here too, starting area seemed somewhat fine but going out had extremely low amounts of resources, leading to needing to clear through a ton of demolishers to find the second/third patches compared to nauvis which was perfectly fine, patches of sulfur seemed to be quite low % too

I could try to increase the resource frequency on Vulcanus. That could help with the scarcity of resources.

Can confirm about Acid nodes being abnormally small compared to vanilla they are normally around 4000-5000% with RSO they cant even get to 1000%

Thats by design actually - is it causing problems?

I tweaked the Vulcanus a bit to increase resource frequency and make acid nodes have more resources in them.
