I'm sorry but I don't understand. Thread title and post content completely don't match.
And maximum amount of ore is really subjective - might be for size or amounts of ore.
I would recommend searching for mod that covers whole map with ore since it might do what I think you want much better.
Sorry, let me reprhase that better. In the mod settings, there are a few warnings that things can be game breaking. Is this due to too much ore being generated or it will actually crash the game?
If its too much ore, please let me know as I'd like the generate so much ore that I cannot use it.
Those warnings are there mainly because when ore patches become veery big they are slow to generate (which can lead to a bit of stuttering when it happens) and might get truncated a bit on sides sometimes. It should not crash the game or anything.
