Makes resources more sparse than base game. You will need to use trains much earlier to get resources. Game will be more difficult especially with higher enemy settings.

Please go to mods atuhor and ask him to prepare ore configs for RSO - there are a lot of "ores" there.

Based on current ones - they are in resourceconfigs folder in mod - vanilla one has description of parameters. Each config needs to be added to mainconfig file to be included if it's mod is present.

I made the resources have smaller areas, and they are rarer to encourage search. I hope its

Is it your intention to have all of them in starting area?
Usually the more advanced stuff would be available only outside of it.

In fact, i'm still learning this configurations, sorry!!! Yes, my intention was to be randomly scattered across the map, but

((( sulfur, advanced-circuit, battery, engine-unit, explosives, plastic-bar)) would be distant

and

(((electric-engine-unit, processing-unit ))) would be very distant

Sorry for my lack of attention, I'm trying to understand better!

I don't have support for distant/very distant generation but I will remove them from starting area and release new version.

Hello Ozerlek, sorry to bother you, could you help me with this little one presented by a player in the mod?

-- RSO enabled results in (generation size=none) being ignored within starting area --

When RSO is enabled, it's no longer possible to use "size"="none" in resource settings to disable, say "copper cable", or "iron sticks" from being generated. it still will sometimes generate maps with iron sticks or copper cable in starting area even if those are set to "none".

it does seem to respect the area outside the starting area, for those values (IE: if something is set to "none" it won't generate it outside the starting area, but for some reason, it's not possible to disable an item completely.

I think this should be fixed in one of recent versions.
Can you recheck it on latest and let me know if it's still present?

Can you prepare RSO configs based on vanilla crude oil config?
They work in similar way to ores with one difference - richness is per patch. Size is used to define how many patches per spawn will be present.
