Makes resources more sparse than base game. You will need to use trains much earlier to get resources. Game will be more difficult especially with higher enemy settings.

The first map with this mod (v14.17) I generated had 2 oil nodes at the start and no oil anywhere else on the map as far as I can tell. Explored HUGE amount of land and found none. Oil nodes need to be more common.
I just checked and it seems to spawn as usual.
How far is the huge amount of land?
If you can please post me a save on forums - I can take a look if something went wrong.
I'm assuming you were unlucky - try to get one of longer range radar mods to scan big part of map.
