Robot Probe Enemies
A Factorio mod that adds flying robot probe enemies in three sizes.
Features
- Three Enemy Sizes:
- Small Robot Probe: Fast, fragile scouts (50 HP, high speed)
- Robot Probe: Standard combat units (150 HP, balanced stats)

Large Robot Probe: Heavy assault units (500 HP, high damage, slow)

Flying Enemies: Probes hover above the ground and can fly over obstacles

Laser Weapons: All probes attack with laser projectiles

Robot Probe Hive: Spawner building that produces robot probes based on evolution factor
Requirements
- Factorio 2.0+
- Space Age DLC
Installation
- Place the
robot-enemiesfolder in your Factorio mods directory - Enable the mod in-game
Spawning Enemies
The probes spawn from Robot Probe Hives. To test, use console commands:
/c game.player.surface.create_entity{name="robot-probe-spawner", position={x=10, y=10}, force="enemy"}
Or spawn individual probes:
/c game.player.surface.create_entity{name="robot-probe-small", position={x=5, y=5}, force="enemy"}
/c game.player.surface.create_entity{name="robot-probe-medium", position={x=10, y=5}, force="enemy"}
/c game.player.surface.create_entity{name="robot-probe-large", position={x=15, y=5}, force="enemy"}

Evolution Factor
The spawner produces different ratios based on evolution:
- Low evolution (0-35%): Mostly small probes
- Mid evolution (35-60%): Mix with more medium probes
- High evolution (60-100%): Mostly large probes
Placeholder Graphics
Currently uses base game graphics as placeholders:
- Probes: Constant combinator sprite
- Spawner: Biter spawner graphics
