Features

Attempts to reduce the number of tile-effects when the limit of 32 is reached. This can occur quite easily when running any of the dozens of new planet mods.

The primary code only runs when necessary, and only removes tile-effects until the count has fallen below the limit. The collapsed/removed effects are hard-coded and have been manually selected as the "most redundant" or "least significant" tile effects to remove, in order to limit the visual/aesthetic impact on the game, prioritizing removal in this order (from top-to-bottom):

  • Gleba: wetland-green -> wetland-gray
  • Gleba: wetland-pink -> wetland-gray
  • Gleba: wetland-purple -> wetland-gray
  • Moshine: moshine-lava -> lava-2
  • Carna: carna-plasma-2 -> carna-plasma-1
  • Cubium: cubium-lava-2 -> cubium-lava
