b [Question/Answered] Tenebris bugged? (and minor Rabbasca + Panglia thing)

Hey sorry for raising another (possible) issue again so quickly after the last one, but I noticed that something feels off when using Asteroid Belt and it's that Tenebris is no longer outside the belt as it used to be before (though maybe it's intended to be in its new location, idk) (also in the image you can see that Rabbasca and Panglia are on top of connection lines. Idk if this is something that even can be fixed but I thought I'd let you know about that regardless)

Let me know if the image doesn't work as I tried using discord for uploading it.

I forgot to mention that in the changelog, but yeah, I originally moved Tenebris to the outer planets because it was located within the asteroid belt itself, but I recently updated the logic so that any planets located within the asteroid belt simply get moved to the nearest edge instead (thus retaining their original locations). I guess I could make that a setting, if the change was actually preferred (I'm not sure if it should be considered mid/endgame or not)

As for the thing with the Gleba moons, I might be able to slightly tweak the angle, but because the player could be running any number of mods that create new connections or move existing connections, no way to tell the best angle the planet should be in.

Oh, and no worries about the constant questions, I do that sometimes myself lol

Gotcha, it's just that since even discovering it requires science from Aquilo, I thought it made sense to have it also be in that area. Though I will admit that I personally would like to see just the colder planets out there, and have stuff like Maraxsis and Tenebris closer to their original locations, as especially for Maraxsis it makes more sense for an ocean world to be closer to the sun so that the ocean doesn't freeze over.

I think a cool idea would be to have settings to toggle which planets go inside or outside the belt, though that may be better aimed at the developer of the Asteroid Belt mod. And besides, that idea stems more from me wanting to find my personal perfect space map layout, lol

Yeah, that might be something to discuss with the Asteroid Belt dev, they have their own ideas about what should be an inner or outer planet, and I'm not sure if I should be the one to override those decisions, since they only rely on this mod to enable compatibility with Redrawn Space Connections.

They might be willing to negotiate though, I know others agree about keeping certain planets in the inner solar system, like Maraxsis and Cubium, Adding settings to opt-in to those changes might be the best way for them to handle that sort of thing imo, but it's up to them, of course.

...that being said, while I wouldn't make those sweeping changes within this mod, perhaps as an optional extension mod... anyways, if you want the "perfect" starmap, you might try Better Planets? It completely opens up the location values to the user, so you can move the planets wherever you like. I haven't personally tried it, but it seems to work properly with Asteroid Belt and other mods.

Although now that you mention Tenebris requiring Aquilo science, I might move it back out there, that does make sense, and Tenebris isn't handled by Asteroid Belt at all, so it's fine to do whatever I want with it, I suppose lol

Hello again lol

Re-implemented the Tenebris change, and added a setting to move Maraxsis back to its original location, both in v1.0.27
