Mod isn't compatible with Space Exploration as per mod description header:

Does not work with other mods that add or change train carriages, locomotives or any other track related entity.

will there be compat later on?

The mod isn't being actively developed. However, if I can make it compatible in simple ways I may look at it.
It's also incompatible with any custom train carriages at present and with custom locomotive speeds. So even if the mod loaded it would fail in a lot of uses with space exploration.
