This mod could be well used in pvp if it worked with the Big Brothers Radar mod (higher range) and could scan players and player vehicles (like the player himself, tanks and the helicopter) or even all buildings built by your opponent, as soon as they are in scan range. Therefore it would be really nice if it worket with big brothers mod!!

It seems to work with Big Brother, at least in normal play. I tried it and the signal reader started working after removing and replacing both the radar and the reader.
