I realized that the Glass Furnace doesn’t cast shadows. At first, I thought they just weren’t implemented, but I found the shadow assets in the files, so it looks like this is actually a bug.
The shadow asset is a single image but to be implemented needs to match the sprite sheet; I never managed to get it to work. :(
