Would love to help; but there's not much I can do without a save file and some context.

Sorry, I don't play with those mods; which is why a save-file is so important. I can just sync mods with it.
It literally saves me hours of trial and error; so I am not even going to attempt anything without a save file.

I have the same issue in a mostly vanilla run, with no new entities. Just QoL mods.
This error comes up, if you select an area that has ghost pumps placed. If you remove the ghost pumps it works.

I've tried it as you described. I had hoped the description would be specific enough, but alas, it does not occur for me.
Might still be something mod-specific, though. Even QoL mods can collide. Or it might have to do with the placement of the wells. Might also matter if it's with or without space age. Or depend on which researches you've finished. So many variables, .. even when (mostly) vanilla.

Can you please share a save with which I can reproduce it?
