Hi! I'm happy to hear you like it. :-)
As for continued support into 2.0 and the DLC, I would have to say: It depends.
Not a very useful answer, I realize. Let me elaborate:
I'm primarily a player, not a modder. So I plan on playing the game first. I look forward to it a lot, and am very curious to see the kind of challenges is presents. I am going to assume P.U.M.P. might not be compatible out of the box due to the various announced changes. So I might not be able to use it myself straight away. Depending how much I miss it myself, I'll determine the priority in which I'll update the mod, ... if at all.
I've also currently moved on from Factorio (apart from the occasional maintenance on P.U.M.P.). And while I look forward being pulled back into Factorio with the upcoming update/DLC, it might not last very long. This totally depends on how refreshing the changes are. I will say, they look very promising, so I have good hopes. But I can't deny that usually expansions don't captivate me as much as original releases do.
So I can't give a useful answer, I'm afraid.
- I can be sure it won't be day one.
- It might be within a few days, but that's very unlikely.
- I assume it'll be a few weeks.
- ... But if the update doesn't capture me, .. it might not be updated at all.
- ... Or if the changes to resources or the modding API prove to be too mayor to adopt and P.U.M.P. needs a redesign; I'll pass on that, too.
Those things said; I don't recall seeing anything in the FFF's that directly affects P.U.M.P., I think? There's new factories, and offshore pumps, but P.U.M.P. wouldn't do anything with those anyway. So who knows, it might be a really easy fix, too. 🤷♂️
Safe to say I am at least open to idea of supporting it. And from there we'll have to wait and see what happens after the update/DLC has released.
I hope that answer's your question. 😊
