b Off by one error for some pipes

Hi,

First off, thanks for a great mod, very useful when you get to a megabase stage and you discover your oil is woefully underdeveloped, and you just don't want to spend the time doing the tedium by hand.

So, in a field of 22 pumps, I used the tool and it worked fine for creating the field. But, there were two areas where the pipes did connect, with one pipe gap each time. This was also where the pumpjacks were close to each other. I have screenshots and the log file, but can't figure out how to upload on this particular thread. Where would you prefer I upload?

Thanks!

Hi,

Thank you for using it. Always nice when work is appreciated. :-)

I would be very interested in getting that kink fixed. Perhaps you could open a ticket on the github page. It should be possible to have attachments there.

Github is my preference, though I think an account is required there to create an issue. If you don't have, and want, a github account, perhaps you could upload zip file one of the many free file sharing sites. Doing a quick google leads me to https://gofile.io for instance, which accepts files to share through a link you can paste here. If you have dropbox you can share files from there with a link without exposing your other files.

When you upload the file, please also include the save file containing that problematic oil field. I have some outside-of-game test help. But nothing beats being able to do a final test in-game. :-)

Thanks, I've opened the ticket on github. Screenshot is there, log file and save is shared with a link, too big for Github as well. :)

The issue (https://github.com/Xcone/factorio_pump/issues/3) has been fixed, and I've uploaded a new version here on the mod portal.

Thanks again for reporting it. If you find anything else, let me know!
