Power Combinator

Have power consumption and power production as signals in your circuit network, with capabilities to measure the electric network statistics up to about 1.8 × 10^308 watts. Additional envelope signals for maximal projected electric production/consumption are also provided. We use the electric network id for accounting of all calculated values within each electric network

a [compat][done] Compatibility with Power Overload

(updated 3 years ago)

Hello,

I use Power Overload to spice up my power networks. The crux of the mod is that power cables have limited capacities, and so you have to carefully plan power lines and use the mod's one-way transformer to segregate high capacity networks (big electric pole) from low capacity networks (small electric pole). Each transformer acts either as a producer or consumer of power within each network depending on how it is connected, but the power combinator doesn't give any output when connected to a network with transformers - only if the suppliers and consumers are in a flat network with no transformers.

I also use Realistic Reactors - the ultimate goal is to turn reactors on and off or increase temperate/output based on the current demand.

Thanks

Edit: It looks like Power Overload is compatible with https://mods.factorio.com/mod/Electric_Transformators, which is compatible with this mod. Ace!

Hi,
I was having this exact problem. When adding the Power Combinator inside a network with transformers from the Power Overload mod, the only output was the scale.

By removing the connection with the transformers, the signals started to be shown correctly.

It would be interesting for this to be adapted, if possible.

Thanks

Hi,

electric-energy-interface is unsupported. Before the 5.2.0 the power-combinator was buggy with EEI, however we analyzed that aspect and found no way to implement same functionality.
