You should just make the ducts available when researching fusion power is done. There's no need to make it needlessly complicated by needing promethium science. The main reason to use fusion reactors in the first place is to get to the promethium chunks! So I'll end up designing a ship the vanilla way and then redesign it once I get the ducts?

Can you change this or make it a mod setting option?

My thought process was that this is an end game tech to make designing bigger fusion layouts easier.

I understand your thoughts though, and I will work on adding an option for requiring prometheum or not. I also plan to make it use some of the vanilla graphics for ports, etc, but life is busy lately.
