installed the mod after using color coded piped and all my factory's i had building the pipes and tanks have a not research working on them and i cant find a way to research them so i have to remove this mod and it works fine. i even tried the cheat for research and still did not let me make them. i have not tried it on a new start map.,

It's been a hot minute, but I'm pretty sure research isn't necessary. Just hold a pipe/tank in your hand and then you can change the color with the gui that appears in the upper left.

that part is working but when i add this mod it makes the colored pipes not researched. i mean for all i know it is making a different mod do it but i can say if i disable this mod it goes away. i have screen shots. the gui will come up and work but i can't build the pipes.

Can you share your save file?
I'm not sure I understand the problem, and being able to sync to a save will let me experience the same exact mod list and startup settings
