I'm curious what this mod has to offer over ones like Belt Visualizer and Pipe Visualizer. Did you not know about these, or did you think you could improve on them?

I guess upstream/downstream belt highlighting is the only unique feature this mod has. Other than that, I simply wanted to update this old mod of mine. Some people may also find this specific approach easier (specifically a hotkey unlike the pipe visualizer mod you linked, as well as supporting both pipes and belts). This mod was created before you could draw fancy graphics, so it doesn't look as nice as the other ones, and I don't feel like changing it too much.

For some reason I missed that this was an old mod and thought it was released today, whoops :P
I agree with you on pipe visualizer, A hotkey would be nice so you could move around and look (though I have talked with raiguard and it's on his todo list)

while this mod's highligh is a bit harder to read compared to existing popular mod
but I think with one simple unified hotkey for both belt and pipe makes this mod really easier to use.

really love your works! I hope I'm not overstepping by suggesting this xD, but it would be nice if Belt Visualizer and Pipe Visualizer has a unified hotkey like this mod, it's really good QoL feature.

Thanks! I completely agree with you, however there's not much I can do about Pipe Visualizer not having a hotkey.
That being said, raiguard is planning on refactoring it to improve on performance and utility, and since I've talked with him about it before I have no doubt that he will eventually get around to adding a keybind. He's a busy guy!

it's quite a lot of code so at least not for now (and there's no reason to duplicate the effort), but I can add a hotkey for only belts/only pipes so you can bind belt visualizer's hotkey and this mod's pipe only hotkey to the same key, this might work. If that doesn't work, I can create a fork of _CodeGreen's mod that adds pipe visualizing (as the visualization is really the biggest part of the mod)
